Lithium as you are no doubt aware react differently from the conventional lead acid type in the way they discharge, lead will progressively lose power as they get used, whereas lithium put out the same power until the very last moments and then die, I was advised to avoid letting them become completely flat for a couple of reasons, 1,it shortens their lifespan. and 2, the charger requires a level of remaining input to start the charge cycle.
