Skipper Retractable Barrier System

Any one have any comments/experience on this system ?

I've finally tracked it down after a few months, and am keen to give it ago to placate my utter contempt for what always ends up as a bin bag full of knotted & twisted old barrier tape................................grrrrrrrrrrr

Pet hate is a cliche that's quite apt for this one

saw these contractors with it last year & was duly (sadly) impressed

For that price - it's got to be worth a punt.

Very tempting to get half a dozen and give them a road test

Have tried calling the contractors, but hard to track down.

Maybe a pain to lug a load of cones around, but I guess you could pick & choose depending on site & access issues.

Can you not use blue polyprop rope between cones like on roadworks

Or plastic red and white planks with rope fed through inside, supported by cones (bulky to store though)

How do you work that out their £10.50 each

read it again pal... from £10.50... for your ten fiddy you would recieve one 'wall mounting bracket'

the barrier doodah itself would set you back £60.45.... or £140 with cone...

not as dear as all that, but i'd make do with a bit of rope or hazard tape...

You can also get hazzard bunting for about a tenner for a roll

It's like an orange plasticy cord (simmilar to washing line!) with little red and white plastic bits hanging off. Often used to mark overheard wires on building sites etc. If you had somehting to wrap it up on after use it could be stored quite neatly
