after reading steves thread about finding a shovel up a tree in the woods, lets see what the odds are of getting one stuck, no conifers allowed, extra points for the usual hilarity and nakedness(mark and rich):biggrin:

 

remember and do your risk assesment first lads :thumbup1:

 

Speaking of things stuck in trees, here's something that got stuck.

 

Its an elk skull embedded inside the wood of an Arbutus tree. On display in one redwood park visitor center.

 

I can imagine a head getting wedged between stems, but how the wood tissue grew into and around the skull entirely, I do not understand or have a guess for.

 

Remember, if you hurl shovels, keep in mind that things can go wrong.
