Can't say a bad word about the cutting performance of it on our Tajfun400 (fast, even chips, excellent stay sharpability) but on the old Stihl 034 it's very rough in comparison to stihl chain.

However I've had one chain come apart at the original joint link on the processor and another was sent with a knot in it that can't be undone. After speaking to them they were to send a postage label for me to return to them but that has yet to arrive. Customer Service is very much lacking.

I bought a pack of 3 for my ms180, 3 cost about the same as 1 stihl chain so I thought i'd try them. They seem ok, one was very very grabby when first used, it dug into a bit of ash so deep it stalled the saw and i had to take the bar off, get some thick gloves on and tug really hard to unjam it. However a few minutes later I blunted it hitting buried barbed wire and after a sharpen it was fine. I gave one to my brother and I need to ask how he has got on but the other 2 I rotate along with 2 stihl chains and don't notice which is which. Seem ok...although I don't like the stories of snapped chains, so fingers crossed.

Yeah I have been trying to sort my one that doesn't fit and one with a snapped tooth(after first use).

They have now changed staff and the fella I spoke to refunded me Instantly, so worth ringing them and speaking Greg.

Also I have a free postage label for them they send I could email you if you pm yer email

I've pretty much switched completely to rotatech now for all our saws and tajfun 480 processor. They have a few minor issues like the initial stretch but they match the performance of other chains and beat them in value.

I've lost the odd tooth but never snapped one, although I've snapped a few oregons :)

Do the rotatech chains have the scored mark on top of the tooth (mark to show last sharpen)? I'm going to buy a bunch but I hate with the oregon chain it doesn't have that mark unlike the stihl as I get my sharpening angle from that? Silly thing, but bother me haha

Yes, they do. Only slightly irritating thing is a lot of them are 28 degrees so if you use a guide it's not often marked on that but you get used to it.
