yeah its a 1200 av got it up to a 160hp so it can pull.

 

Be careful being on full boost at high rpm’s for long periods, as you will get high EGT given both the om352 & om366 with turbo that are not native >150HP units means you don’t have the piston crown cooling jets which squirt oil on the underside of the piston + bores.

 

As a rule you don’t take om352a/la & om366a/la that are beneath <150hp above >150hp without retrofitting piston crown cooling jets #1 especially if they spend there lots of time at high load on e.g. hevy pto work, high traction work or ware it is hilly.

 

#1 = noting that not all blocks are machined to take them thus fitted with blanking plugs that can be removed to fit cooling jets.

Did you just tweak the fuel pump on the mog? Do any other mods to it, to get it 160hp?

 

it got a new injecter system and just tweaked the fuel pump its a realy good size for its power u can get it in just about anywere. we turned it up about 12months ago and touch wood no problems so far. atkinson vos did it so who nos what could be happen :001_huh:
