L200 uprated leaf springs?

Has anyone ever changed their springs on their 4x4's?

My l200 really sinks when loaded and has my chipper on....

Put some uprated heavy duty on our l200 tipper and they are spot on.

Never hear the wheels scrub now !

HD springs will make the back of the truck sit high when empty, on reflection I should have gone for standard on our l200 . If its to increase load carrying capacity they are probably the way to go but if its just for normal use go standard. The kits are cheap and come with longer U bolts.

 

With the L200 you can wind up the front torsion bars to level the truck up.

 

 

This is the Navara kit but its the same sort of thing, complete with new bushes and U bolts

Air bags are the way to go if you want a proper job.

Jones Springs near Birmingham do a set that looks pretty decent. £250. They fit as well.

Bought a few from Jones. They are good(used by many vehicle restorers) and they will make exactly what you want.

I upgraded my hilux with some 7leafsprings from midland road springs that was 3 yrs ago and still going good
