My suggestion . 'Kin fast Jon ! :001_smile:

Kin dangerous as well :laugh1:

Not as fast as a decent tractor PTO machine either. Yes the ram speed is not rapid but with a big blade you can cut multiple logs in one go. Never for a second have I been tempted to go back to a Hycrack.

Value for money for sure but whilst splitting extra small logs I had one flip and smash up my hand pretty bad but they are faster than a tractor hydraulic, I would buy another of these Posche small pto splitters with out a second thought ,15 years old and has split thousands of tonnes with no real issue also fitted with a retro foot pedal which is not really legal but owner operates? I only need it to bust the bigger ugly old rings before they go thru the processor. Be less than 50 tonne a year probably.

That or the Igland WP90 I'm warming to... Think the remote or attached pto pump is a good idea.

Jon, iv got a PTO pump, reservoir and pipes etc if it's any use to you for running the splitter of your Deere. I got it when I had my zetor which didn't have the guts to run my post driver of its aux hydraulics. Weight use to fly up the mast on little more than tickover, could work out a fair bit cheaper way of doing it?
