VI. WereonGodsgreenearthavyabin?

£20k? That's almost the price of a barrel of lager over there....

Good to see you posting again... You've been missed.. 👍👍😇

Thanks Ti,

Ventured into a hollow veteran Oak back in May. Blowed if I could find my way back out:blushing:

Fortunately a passing tinker heard by stomach rumbling yesterday and stuck his head in, revealing my escape route.

Had the tree not been home to a Long Eared Owl coughing up a nightly pellet I fear I would have starved to death.

From this day forth, to ensure my freedom, I shall dilligently remain on the outside of trees!

heathen!? It's such an outdated term.

I prefer to think of myself as Almightily challenged.

Really looking forward to the Norway pics:thumbup:

I heard the other day that you can buy 10 acres with a cabin in the wilds of Sweden for £20,000! Does anyone know if this is realistic, or did the chap think I was Bjorn yesterday?

Yes very realistic. I can sell you some if you want ? Still have forest in Sweden.

Very realistic, will be well out the way though.

A quick look shows 250 farms and houses for sale under 30k, 25 farms under 30k.

1 farm for 12k with 3.5ha land.

A guy i worked with a bit, got given a cabin on the norwegian border for free! His then girlfriends dad wanted to sell it as never used it, estate agent wasn't interested as it was "worthless" so he gave it to the guy if he promised to make use of it!

Wheres your forest Stefan?

Gastrikland outside Sandviken. And Dalarna outside Lexand. 20 acres isn't much, but you won't get mature forest for that money. Further north you could get it for free
