I did over a year on the bone , then switched between the bdb & runner eventually choosing the runner due to it feeling smoother & having the pulley tending better in short movements ... The runner doesn't feel in the hand as nice as the bone but is more refined in its action & performance... The akimbo looks to have a good shape but it's how the device feels on the rope that matters .. I'd hoping we see more companies pushing r&d into srt devices it really is the way to go :)

the bulldog obliterates the runner in terms of moving efficiently around trees simply because it comes on and off the rope with no parts to drop in about 5 seconds. This opens up a world of opportunities to those who can see when and where to use them. When the runner mk2 comes out maybe it will catch up with the bulldog. Just my opinion

Pretty much what Ben said.

Saying that I have been on the runner 75% of the time recently, having flown in the bone for the previous 18 months.

I think now though my decision is based on the tree and task at hand, plus the rope I would choose to complete the task.

That's what I wanted to say Ben but didn't feel I should as I haven't owned a RR or used it for an adequate time period to judge.
