TPO application

Anyone can apply to the LA to have trees TPO'd. I did 2 applications last month (it says it's anonymous which can be useful sometimes.)

It's all about getting a good justification case - I looked up the LA's qualifying criteria for applying a TPO and modelled the application justification on that.

Here's what Cornwall council has on their web page: https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment-and-planning/planning/planning-advice-and-guidance/trees/#New_TPO

Maybe worth looking it up for your LA, they probably have something very similar.

Have a check with LA first . they may be already ......

Did that, not covered. Very little up here is.

There are some of the finest trees I've seen.

The report will say that none of the trees should come out and the root protect zones would make it impossible to build or put in access.

However we all know that means little or nothing to developers.

Ok so you report wont be favourable but if it comes to light that you were the source of the information, the developer is going to be, "upset" about your breach of confidence.

What if they take the gloves off and break out the lawyers?
