We have got these in the pro lam..... and we have them coming in the light type pro...

Should be a couple of weeks away or thereabouts!

Excellent, will they be on the website when in stock?

What you recommend for occasional use? Just the standard bar? Or something more substantial?

The pro lam bars are fine for occasional and regular use....

Hi Rob,

My 550xp has its standard husky bar and also runs the bar red hot! Will a pro-lam bar run cooler do you think? Thanks Gordon.

Hmmmm.... should not do this with any bar. Sounds like is either too tight a chain or not enough oil (blocked oil hole and or oiler not turned up enough).

Do you give the bar a good scrap to clear out the black crud at the bottom? That sucks up the oil.

But something is not right there....

You have to watch the Sugi bars - the rails are as hard as it is possible to make them BUT if they get too hot you can damage the metal and then they can chip more easily than other bars.

Well, it was a brand new saw, brand new Bar & chain? Used for around 2 hours, I've ordered a 15in pro-lam from you so I will see what the difference if any is.

Thanks. Gordon.
