I admit to being shocked at the "presentation" of ANY of the advertised kit.

Did the "insiders" hope the Bord ud let it go for scrap, price wise, leastwise, i.e. none of this public auction nonsense?(if it looked neglected enough)

Is all I can figger.

Typical of peat harvesting machinery. I worked in the industry for 20 years and you certainly see plant that has been used to distruction. Much of it has been modified to do the job as there is nothing available off the shelf. I've seen tractors with 19000hrs on the clock and still going strong!
