Chinese Chainsaw air filter help

I'm tempted to buy one of the 60cc saws and cane the arse out of it on an upcoming softwood thin just to see how it fairs. If it lasts a month it'll Of paid for itself.

My Chinese 58cc has done ok for me, but only my own fire wood. All its work has been with its 20 inch bar ( now worn out) buried in 40 inch softwood. Now on a better 18 inch husky bar but still cutting bar length most of the time. I did some timed cuts against two other saws and it wasn't particularly slow. About what you would expect/ cc against two basic husky saws. Its seems a bit thirsty though.

I need to improve the air filtration on my 62cc Timberpro Chilling saw (Chinese Milling ). the picture shows the stock filter which is far from ideal. I don't know if any major manufacturers filters would fit, or what can I do to help stop the fast clogging and carb choking dust build up. I have thought about replacing the gauze with foam / oil, but what do you suggest?

If you look on Ebay.com under Max Flo air filter material,& a seller Kstuff68, he sells (or did ) pieces of felt like material, that you can add or replace the existing filter material. Very useful on old saws where original filters are NLA
