Hey Dave, you're not helping yourself out here. You're the only Muppet pulling out the 'alky' card.

And aye, alcoholism is an actual illness, one from which you can recover.

You don't drink at all, is it because it turns you into an even bigger twat?

I don’t drink because I am capable of making a reasoned choice and have the capacity to just say no, tbh I just got sick of feeling seedy and jaded the next day nothing more or less Mark.
Stop crying about your past issues with alcohol/ alcoholism ( as you describe it) then you winning bugger. Look to the future, keep telling yourself you can take it or leave it, a recovering alcoholic whom drinks is not recovering is he 🤷‍♂️he’s just one drink away from a blow out, or your just a piss head who drinks too much when things aren’t going great 🤷‍♂️, I know plenty like that.

Pal, I'm not whining about anything..I don't have that problem anymore..

I'm not a recovering alcoholic, I have recovered from it.

You kept bringing it up as you have nothing else to bring to the table,, which makes you the whining bitch in this equation.

Bare in mind there are other people out there who might not have been as lucky as I am.

You make your own luck in life.

You throw it out I’ll throw it back lad. You do realise I don’t need to fetch anything to the table 🤷‍♂️ you are the one telling everyone how you are a recovered alcoholic who still drinks, yet expect sympathy for your past piss head tendencies 👍well done.

Nope. It's your go to move when you know your brain cell is misfiring. .

That's a daft thing to say, Dave, you should know better but I guess you're just not wired that way.

What causes you to think I want sympathy?

I fully own everything I have done.

SNP rotten to the core, literally ignoring all the established legal norms and protocols. All those years taking money from the gullible fools who believed the propaganda they pumped out. Strange that one of the sites most politically active members, an SNP supporter is silent on the utter corruption at the heart of the Scottish government.

The cause is the drink

So let's make up an imaginary idea. Let's play imagining that you are telling the truth and not lying, that bringing up Marks past mental health conditions is not an attack on him. Why did you mention it? It wasn't pertinent to the conversation on here, it was well in the past and certainly not 'making the news today', is there a reason for bringing it up to the conversation again?

[now in reality I am not expecting you to be able to form a reasoned and rational response, anticipating your usual insults thrown out like a baby in throwing toys out of a pram when it doesn't get its own way, but I'm willing to give your answer a read]

However

You constantly make fun of, weaponise, attack because of past problems. The focus of your current abuse is Mark, but it could be any member who dares to open up that could be the target of your venom.

It might be worth reiterating that male mental health is a silent killer, 'man up', 'say nothing' attitude which needs to change and then arses like you come along to poke fun of and to throw insults out at those who do open up.

Makes everyone else clam up until you find them at the end of the rope and the repeated comment around the grave "if only they had told someone". Well, if the response they get is you is there any surprise that men don't?"
