Because that costs money and time. It's a 2 week lead time at my local shop. Tool out of action for a while is not good for a small business. I fix everything myself as I can't afford the downtime. Forums like this are a great place for help.

Agreed, and I have used it for advice on machinery repair to good effect. But I've tried to repair it and reached the point where I've needed help

It's just if one hasn't even done/or have the ability to do the basics i.e. eliminated Air/tank filter, checked for a spark, plug tightness, fuel lines.

Just come on here and said "it doesn't work, what is it?"

Do the basics first then ask for advice is all I'm saying.

Enlighten you? After the complete contradiction you've just articulated, I'm gonna bow out. It's Friday after all.

"The best course of action"..... "Repair will likely not be worth it"

Ooh someone's had a couple of shandies!

It's worth dropping it in to your dealer for a look, you'll get a lot further than just asking "what's wrong with my blower" online!

The price of repair is valid, a dealer should at least be able to tell you if it's beyond economical repair, or just needs a quick tune.

Are you really struggling to see the logic?
