Forst tr8 or jensen a540t?

I've been thinking of upgrading my chipper, i do like older models and no electrics and rubbish approach.

 

Thinking maybe a forst tr8 or a jensen a540t

 

Only issue for me is finding a decent jensen dealer as i havent up to now found one im satisfied with after redwood finished with them.

 

What size do these chippers narrow down to? And what do they weigh? Currently run a jensen a 530t and want to speed production up more. Works really busy and a bigger chipper would make life a lot easier

Would be looking 2nd hand so would be out of budget. Would look at bandit but would be too heavy and need a mortgage lol

sharp blades & keep it well maintained wont be an issue ,imo

 

run blunt blades & dont maintain it & treat it like **** it will end up fked like others treated this way,weather it be a bandit ,jensen,forst etc

Have you looked at lease/hire to get what you REALLY want? Ie a brand new machine.

Arbrep Services are a Jensen dealer. I've had two chippers from them and their after sales service is excellent, whether you buy new or used.

Just started using a forst at work, hire one at the moment with 800+ hrs on until the new ones come in. First impressions - terrible. Feed rollers are crap compared to the timberwolfs
