Does anyone know the buck dimensions of a nissan cabstar. Am thinking about one but want to know how many cubic metres of firewood i would get in a level load. Am i better off with my ifor 8x5 tipper on the back of my ranger pick up.

can take an alright load...but the tippers are no good. don't want to fill it up to much or you will be shoveling off woodchips.

As the owner of or ex owner, I'd say defo go with a cabstar! the best truck on the market, body size is usually 10'x5' sides 18'' high......

 

I oiwn a Ranger tipper [off the shelf model] ok but not all that for serious graft, but if you need 4x4?

remembered working with cabster before...the truck couldn't tip full load of heavy off. we had to hand ball 30% off before it would tip the timber. :confused1:

 

same when i once used a Vw. must be these new tippers.

 

if you buy a cabstar past w reg they all have tipmaster bodys on they should tip some have multi stage rams on. most of the time if it wont tip its cos its overloaded.

must have just been that tipper. sure wasn't overloaded though.

 

Vw are rubbish for tipping for sure.
