Burning my ships

Means the same thing, but that's not the point.

It just seems odd to say to your employer "I'm handing in my notice for March 2017"

What are you going to do with your clothing till then? Website, cards etc.

I think you're putting the cart before the horse a bit, that's all.

I may have confused the title a bit when I say burning ships I am talking about the willingness to succeed a captain actually burned his ships when he arrived on an island and told his crew now we must win or be killed . I am already working weekends and evenings through word of mouth but I have indulged a bit with the work wear and buisness cards but it's all about inspiring myself 😀 .

I do value your opinion mick and appriciate how you don't sit on the fence :thumbup1:

Think I'd rather a lad did it the way you are than do it all on the quiet and turn up at the busiest time of year nd say he's off in 2-4 weeks, good luck finding a replacement.

Looks very professional image your after putting across.

Hope it works for you this time.

Cheers very kind of you :001_smile:

Andrew the new work shirts look great!. Do you have a business plan, 6 to 12 months cash in reserve to only use for non business expenses?. If yes to both review your old business venture and compare with the new one. If the business plan has not changed the results may be the same. Having reserve funding to handle all of your non business expenses will also be critical going forward.

All the best.

easy-lift guy

Good advice

I'm scrabbling at the moment working my backside off to get things sorted and I'm actually doing very well indeed . I already see myself as succesful now it's all about the journey 😀. Look forward to seeing you at the APF and I love your easy lift harness it looks fantastic 👍

I like the pro look but I bet people who don't know their trees think it's a dope leaf. Best of luck for next year!

That was my thought, also a years notice! That's probably a Guinness book of records nomination, very good of you to be straight up front with current employer.

Working weekends and evenings to get a client base and extra cash for equipment is absolutely the best thing to do.

Just don't overdo it.

Good luck.

Exactly what I did so when I made the step I had pretty much everything I needed to get going in place and paid for and a nice little reserved incase.
