People slate roof mounts but if you know how to manipulate them they can handle a fair bit more than they should.

HI JOHN if you lift one end of log the then you can pick up loads of weight more then a SWL LOAD WIEGHT then just pull on to trailer thanks Jon

I know all about that little trick, biggest log I got on was a big oak stick that was 14' long and the JCBloadall couldn't lift it off when I got back to the sawmill yard, had to drag it out the back of the trailer with a chain.
