Perchance akin to the Army "Eager Beaver's" of the 1980's?

Remember seeing them working at Bisley in 1982/1983 ish

A couple if fellow course builders used to run eager beavers, they had Bedford running gear and engine and a space frame chassis, 4 wheel steer. The mast would fold away down the side of the machine. Fairly nippy in top gear on the road if you are brave enough but you HAD to close a couple of valves to switch them to front wheel steer or else you'd end up getting a wobble on and be in the ditch. Lol.

Mine is dumper based with 3 pot lister mounted on the side. She'll pick up about 1 1/2 ton and lift it to 20ft! The tipping back plate is great for running a bucket etc.

My new one arrived today.. The joysticks on the arm rests are ace, the front suspension can be dropped right down onto the bump stops which will help with stability while loading, plenty toys too, reverse drive, clutch-less shuttle, 50kph, hydraulic adjustable top link, and lots of other stuff to go wrong LOL.

A couple of teething issues but overall very pleased.

Its on the cards Stevie, will need some playing around with the grab bar to get it on though, The reverse drive is brilliant, I wouldn't have one without it now, and thats only after playing in the yard with it.

Put a grab pole on the side mounted by a pin in the front towing eye, makes visibility better.

Reverse drive is great, weird reversing a trailer though, I could never get the hang of it lol!

Mine was a wheel at the top left, yours is cracking right in the middle!

Or get a huge top link, and angle the winch!

Yours being the short bonnet won't really work with a pole out the side, the wheels are too far forward!

I've headed down the road with the grab over the trailer before wondering why all of a sudden the visibility was so much better!!
