Kids in this country only seem to play on Xbox and play station . I can't remember the last time I saw kids playing football on the street. The football culture is all wrong in this country.

It's hard to see us getting an England manager who will be able to inspire and organise our national squad so that they play as a team greater than the sum of its parts........ Like Iceland or Wales.

There's no winning culture.

There's no expectation. No belief. No sense of adventure.

It's very sad.

Although there is expectation(lots of it) there is belief(albeit unfounded), as for no sense of adventure, he's right there! The best player was on the bench for 85 mins!!

And Roy was getting £3.5m a year?????

Just gutted Eggs. The sad thing is that the talent is there. It's just not getting deployed right. When Greg Dyke says that reaching the quarter finals would be deemed a "success" that just shows that the culture and collective mindset is all wrong. We have some great players. It just feels like they get fed a diet of mediocrity and it comes out on the pitch.

They are capable of much better.
