Just set up some sort of table/check list then at the end of every week just tick off each bit of kit (identified by their serial number) if it's still okay etc etc.

 

Really when working you'll most of the time notice if a bit of kit has something up with it but it's always good to go over your kit once a week and keep track

I think this was from a loler inspector, it was given to me by a previous employer. Happy to help
