I generally use 10 to 15 psi more than the height in feet. With a 12oz weight and 1.75 Zing-it the throw bag is still moving smartly as it passes the crotch.

Air rifles have limitations. That will be where to find the legislation.

As long as its only 11.999 ftlb or less then its fine ?

Made a launcher for full bake bean tins etc as a kid. Can’t remember the tubing we sourced but it was just loose enough that a very small amount of petrol was put to the sealed end (but for the touchhole) followed by the tin. A flame at the touchhole and the tin went up to three hundred yards.
Was relatively quiet too - like a bazooka[emoji23]
Think nowadays in this nanny state plod wouldn’t appreciate it.

Ooops my ratting rifle was upgraded by a mate it works at 22lb now !!!!!

I’ve a firearm license tbh. That’s the rifles max fill. It flattens most pellets as they leave the barrel so I run it as 14lb.

sounds a good way to be picking pieces of metal out of yourself or worse....have messed around with bird scarer bangers a fair bit when I was a lad but petrol can be very nasty...
