I think your work is outstanding . I think that happens when you enjoy what you do .

 

 

very kind of you mate, and yes i do think it is a result of loving what i do. i'm still amazed at what comes out of a manky old block of wood. just look at the two large ones, knotty and splitt but with a little time and skill they look the dogs bollocks...

Or like me get the best of both worlds. Save it from the woodpile, get it on the lathe, then return it to the woodpile because you took a huge chunk out of it with a skew chisel haha

Yes I now remember that the inside diameter cannot exceed the external circumference!! Took a while. :blushing:
