would anyone be interested in buying a pair of handles and then just getting seperate weights to screw on the end?

i had the thought that single piece clubs can take up a bit of space but if you just had a pair of handles and then lots of different pairs of weights then they could be more easily stored?

ok, i finally got round to finishing the second pair that i made from an old bit of oak that had been air dried as part of a porch for thirty years.

the little pair are within 12 grams of each other and the heavy one weighs 1.137kg and the big pair are only 30 grams (that's 1 ounce) apart and the heavy one weighs 8lb 5.5oz.

the tall ones are 24".

what do you think tom???

Cheers Steve, they look stunning!

have you oiled them or something, they seem to have quite a shine.

I paid you today by the way..

they were taken with a flash.

the oak is a bit reflective because it's 30 years old and rock hard and can be sanded to a nice finish quite easily. both pairs were given one coat of danish oil and quickly buffed but that's it.
