Actually I better give credit where it's due.

We have many strimmers, hedge cutters. Stihl saws. Blowers and chainsaws , except for a few chainsaws, we always buy Stihl for our teams because having tried other brands we find Stihl stuff to be the best.

Stihl have also been top notch in providing training for our guys in maintaining the machines we use.

I rest my case Richie Rich....and why am I getting e-mails about the new T540 Xp...not a chance in hell...I would buy it and burn it in front of you..what's the Xp stand for?

Interesting but not surprising, very little to chose between the big two (and a Johnny red) and the Echo not quite there but a good deal of money saved.

I've got a 550 btw

Which model jonsered is the equivalent mick?

Just arb work, general ground saw, small bits of felling, ringing up, nothing major I suppose!

There's really not much between the stihl and husky in the cut but if you were looking to use the saw for mostly snedding then the power delivery and handling of the Husky does make it a little bit easier to use.
