I'm as tight as arseholes, I mean careful But I buy nearly everything off the web, I do want quality kit but I get it from the guy selling the genuine article for the cheapest price. Local dealers have bills to pay over heads ect but you know what, there career choice! I ain't paying over the odds to line some bugger else's pocket. It's my hard earned and I keep hold of as much as possible! So FR Jones would be getting my money if he's cheaper on a saw for example I mean 20 quid cheaper is still 20 quid in your own pocket.

As the OP says he doesn't have a big garden and a ride on mower because he pays top wack for everything! And yes I'm that sort that goes to the local dealer looks at it and then goes home and gets it of the web for less, unfair call it what you like but that's the way of the world! Everyone wants everything for nothing and so do I!

Many years ago when working for a motor factors, the batteries were all from the same manufacturer, the same battery exactly the difference being if a 5 year warranty was offered by the motor factors the price for the same product went up 20% and a warranty description was added to the invoice which had to be presented in the case of a return. As stated just an insurance premium.
