True but there is nothing stopping a bunch of our nippers renting a house with the view of living cheap, they could save like hell for a couple of years. They just choose not to.

When I was younger and there weren't any work about (my area) I went to work on the roads, bought a caravan and followed the work around the country.

 

Young un's today don't seem to want to work any more than a few miles from home, mum and dads, never mind share a house where they might actually have to contribute anything.
