Hi, maybe a stupid question, grinding a Laburnum stump later today, would breathing in any dust cause any issues? Or am I being over cautious with the whole poisonous thing.:confused1:

Morning, Sometimes i find laburnum dust can make your lips feel a little tingly. I'd wear a dust mask for piece of mind if nothing else. I often wear one when grinding anyway especially in dry weather when the dust can get up a bit. cheers Dan

Had to stop turning laburnum, even with a mask on it always made me feel as if I had a bad cold, think its only the seeds that are poisonous though.

the whole tree is poisonous but thankfully that website seems to remind us that the tree although by no means harmless is almost useless as a poison unless you stuff many kilos of the seeds down somebody's throat.
