AS some of you old dudes will know I am retired from full time cutting and only do the odd job here and there . Since I had my knee replacement I have a job driving blood from one hospital to another . For this they give me an Audi A 3 two liter turbo diesel 6 speed manual which does shift a bit . Got caught by a camera van on the M 27 . He was on a bridge above . Saw him and lifted off but did not brake hard ( did not want to look guilty even though I was ) Will I be able to get away with doing the " speed awareness " course or will I go to prison and die there ( bearing in mind I am 62 ) ????

Thrashed by naked Virgins, then off to the knackers yard, I'm afraid.

Depends on your speed. Upto 78mph in a 70 then I believe they can offer a speed awareness course as long as you've not done one in the last three years.

It was a 70 coz it was the M 27 but nearer 90 I would say ........:sad:

Clean license up till now but think it had to be 90 + .........

Well over 96mph (actual speed) and you might be in for some bother but if you get anything (you never know, the guy might have been reading the paper at the time...) it'll likely be 3 points and £60 fine.

I would rather pay the £ 80 ish cost of the speed awareness course and have no points .........Insurance premiums on my truck ...;
