What's the correct method to start a 357 ? Also what's the blue button on the side of the engine ? The reason I ask is I cant start it . I had it going a couple of weeks ago but now nothing . I ve put fresh fuel in it .

Red is on/off, (down for off) the blue is choke, (out for choke)

 

A blue press in on the side is a de compression button, in for decomp out if you are a man

 

From cold, choke then pull till it "coughes" then choke in and pull some more

Take the plug out . Turn saw upside down . Pull over several times to expel excess fuel . Dry plug . Wait a bit with plug out . Start over again .

Alternatively drop a match down the plug hole to get ride of excess fuel...

Also, when you say fresh fuel, you didn't just empty the tank and refill from the same mixed can find you? How old is the premix you are using - under a month old or older than that?
