I have found that going up and down trees all day, dragging brash, throwing log on the van, carrying concrete fence posts and digging holes keeps you pretty fit, and i get paid for it :thumbup:

 

I know you're sort of joking Simon but I agree, after I got to 50 I realised that I must not injure myself in a stupid fashion.

No more sport, quad bikes, drunken dares (although drunkenness was acceptable obviously)

No room for tomfoolery:001_smile:

Rock climbing, swimming and a little yoga, stretching is key and I never do

Enough like everyone says, I reckon that tree work keeps you fit but to stay healthy you need to supplement tree work with other exercise.. Your body becomes conditioned to work.
