Cheap chains???

They cut on par with Oregon ime bit harder to sharpen though. I'd say stihl for climbing where you want a nice clean cut and these for general ground saw use and back to stihl for bigger saws 70cc +

My thoughts on my first Piranha (Rotatech) chain are that they are ok'ish.... bit concerning that it has been heating the tip and edge of my guide bar up. The quality of the metal doesn't seem very consistent either.

 

I won't be using them in the long term. Back to using Oregon for me....

Might even treat myself to a Sugihara from RobD after the Piranha does in my Husky guide bar!

which begs the question, why not buy half a dozen of these instead of top brands?....

I'd say they are below 80%, maybe more like (approximately) 67.76329%

Yeah I know they aren't that great but it was working fine on the Oregon chain.... boshed on the Piranha chain and it was instantly heating it up; and it was oiling fine.

I saw a brand new one of these chains the other day on closer inspection the angles were different on some teeth and cutter length varied

You can buy archer chain on ebay for just over 100 quid a roll,cheapo but never used it but it can't be as good as oregon.please prove me wrong

Actually I think they are Chinese from what I can remember.
