My 372 recently started running a bit mad. If you run her at full revs shes fine for about 5 seconds and then runs screaming and dies unless you back of the throttle. If your cutting at half revs she's fine although races a bit. Idles fine and starts and stops fine. I have cleaned the carb with carb cleaner/airline. Any suggestions?

Sounds like fuel starvation rather than an air leak , is it a Strato model ?

That's what I was thinking. 2009 model sorry not sure about strato

I would check the carb for dirt , had a couple of intakes with small splits on 365 , 372 and 390 just behind throttle cable holder , got a run on saws this week with very fine grit in the fuel ! i see your in Scotland as well so worth checking your tank cans , prob same refinery as you

Your saw is not a Strato
