Just wondering has anyone used this item yet on their strimmer?

 

Supposed to replace your normal trimmer head. They claim it reduces window breakages and car damage too, might interest some here!

There's a guy on donedeal selling them here in Ireland. I'm not in anyway related to them by the way. Just was wondering about buying kne myself is all

looks OK but no use for me, I turn the strimmer on its side to do the edges..

Only ever broken about six windows and three of them were at the same house...

 

The trick is to be aware and take care..

 

Another thing I do without fail is take off those black pasticky guards to get more control of the strimmer head..

Pellenc and maruyama make a blade that scythes through instead of whacking it with bit of plastic and flinging it.

Not a replacement to the strimmer head but in some circumstances would be better.
