TW rollers

What should be the gap between the feed rollers on a TW 150DHB at their highest point? I've got one which is about 3cm, I'm wondering if the rubber bump stops on the top are too big.

Are the blades on the infeed rollers worn down? that's what happened on my 190 so we put new ones on.

No not really its low hours.

Springs on top roller adjusted correctly? there's no **** stoppint the top roller from coming back down? 3 cm is a big gap especially when its trying to drag small stuff through.

is the actually guide ways at the bottom where the slide slides down completely clear of debris etc making the roller slide box sit fully down if yes then the Roller blades have worn too short

The gap is not what it seems, the roller knife tips dont stay in synch because the rollers motors are piped on a common feed and return. The gap looks big when a knife tip say on the top roller is pointing at a flat of a knife on the bottom roller. If you were to get the knives on the top and bottom rollers to run tip to tip the gap would be small but they dont stay in synch. As Simonm points out they do wear .

Probably this.

A 17mm socket and a dose of common should sort this out.

That is why I asked the question has it just happened because bits of wood get trapped in slot in roller box.
