bout 100 quid for top end kit, cant remember if the base gasket and small end bearing is included

not sure thers no marks on the p&p but the dealer sayes thats the prob but mi thinks its a carb job ,have stripped it tonite ,seems the vegy oil has welded its self to the lower fins & eveything else so will be steam cleaning all mi saws @ the weekend to get the stuff off

If theres no scuffs,scores or worn bits(where the coating has came off on the pot) on both the piston and pot then they should be fine:confused1:

My 06 200T has just had a new carb on warranty, symptums were similar to when the piston holed on an old blower. Push for a new carb if no damage is evident on the P&P

i stopped using vegy oil because of the mess it made to the saw around the clutch and chain break stuff, it rubberised almost. what a mess:thumbdown:

well tried a differant carb off a newer saw & hay presto saws running spot on,so trying to get a new carb of stihl !!!!!!!!! so will waite for the out come
