Yep, saw it last week when I was pricing some more work at the same site. I love that oak BTW, amazing its still standing, can't have long left though?

Its been standing a few years as it is, who knows how long it has.

and this was a record black poplar i registered a few years back, sadly now gone.

Did it die? Its in the middle of a field, what reason to fell if not?

old age, i guess, just fell apart, the remains are still there.

Not a tree but is epiphytic so only found on trees and occasionally fences where spores have landed. It is an Elkhorn fern, Platycerium superbum. Native to Australia
