We recently lost a Scag Turf Tiger in a garage fire. Great mower, built like a tank, fast, but only does mowing.

Insured for a new one, which is very appealing, but I'm thinking why not a small alpine with finishing mower? Obviously alpine isn't zero turn but a lot more versatile than a dedicated mower.

Whadya reckon?

Purchase according to your current and future needs. Only you can judge how well one piece of equipment will work over another based on your business plan and market share your seeking to acquire.

I swear by my Yanmar compact and finishing mower ,much more versatile but slower cutting grass than your old scag would be .

My finishing mower is a cheap Hinari but I have not took a spanner to it in 4 years .
