I saw a vid once where they tested lots of different gauge sets . From 13s down to 8s ( I use 9s my self ) and they could not tell any significant difference until you got down to the 8s and then they had to do a back to back with the 13s to be sure .

I use 10 on the tele and the strat. Haven't found the sweet spot on the 335 yet, but have been favouring flat wound 12s.

Rick Beato I'd guess?

For me Ernie Ball all the way, 9's on the strat, 10's on the tele and acoustically always EB's heavy bottom light top 10 / 52 with a plain 17 G. 👍

Yes it was Rick . Elixir Nanoweb 9s electric on everything for me . Even on the two Tanglewood Tw45 s . I find Elixir hold their tone and tune for longer than other brands . ( and they bend nicely  ! )

If you type in girl sings Tennessee  Whisky in comes up . There is a bloke with a sampler and guitar . Takes a mo for him to get everything ticking along then she comes in with it .
