The max force of the splitting ram is 11 tonnes I think, the max diameter it take cutting is 18" but the splitting chamber can take bigger logs, biggest I've put in there is probably 25" logs then obviously keep splitting it down, as for the finished logs we have 2 barns full with logs that were seasoned and dry from last year, as for the fresh we have a long herace fence up in a field and we dump them against that, let em season and dry for year then this time next year we will start filling the barns back up, normally after we've had a good fortnight og baking sun on em, unlike this year so for where it's raining every other day!

Just out of interest how many tonnes would that forwarder load in the pic above roughly be?? And if u was to sell it what sort of price per ton I'd it worth??

it's 18t machine but I would guess top side of 20t when we are loading it up with 6 and 8 meter lengths, we offered the timber I think £40 + vat roadside was a few months back might have been £45.

Bagging hardwood log nets for a regular customers 2500 nets just made a start yesterday and today bagged 480 each day

That impressive. What do you use to ring them up before they go in the fuelwood splitta? With those numbers I assume not some poor sod with a chainsaw!
