Must have been a badly specc'd Valmet then !!

I cant remember the model buzz but it came from jas p with forestry guarding and a double drum winch on the back, great for pulling timber out and on its own was fine, but i never liked it with the trailer on it extracting timber i preferred the MB.

Yeah Mr Ed bollocked me in the office earlier and told me i was talking poop lol...

Roof mounts don't have the reach i found when i owned my own Valmet. Having said that it was the single best bit of kit i ever owned lol

i have driven an mb trac quite a bit in agricultural work my opinion is that yes it can be good machine but also has its bad points too but like everything has. like already mentioned parts expensive and can be expensive when breakdown, the steering lock on them is rubbish and that's in a field or road i wouldn't be enthusiastic driving it in the woods etc, also found them a bit temperamental at times, also hydraulic pump is a weakness if its called upon a lot used to replace it yearly!!

Grraattee mb porn!!The only bad point i have experienced with the smaller models, under the gearstick there is a alloy bridge piece on the slector which can snap often. Not a problem with careful opp. Good kit, if you don`t buy it i would be interested mmm...in the mean time i`m off to dream, my girlfriend worries when i start about mb`s and unimogs:001_rolleyes:
