Belt eyelet on an MS201?

I've used a few husqvavrna top handle saws an I really like how you can clip the saw onto your harness with one hand using the eyelet that sticks out on the back of the saw. Anyone know of how I can make a similar one for my ms201t?

Can't find anything on gooooogle

I use the chain break handle for clipping on purposes with stihl saws

even thou it would seem a good idea and may be quickest and located good !! is it really a GOOD idea and best practice to use the chain brake handle other than what it is intended for they are not designed for taking a load only in an emergency , its A safety feature to save injury to you.

Just put another small krab, d shackle or the like onto the metal loop the strop goes onto?

I think it's a great idea myself! Everyone I know does the same and never heard of a problem, there's no pressure there as its only the weight of the saw.

Personally I like it clipped on like that as keeps the bar behind you rather than dangling down near your legs (took a bit of getting used to when got the husky)

The loop on the t540xp is in the perfect position, you can clip in on without even looking 👍🏼 on the stihl I used to use the forunt handle for clipping it on 👍🏼

I reckon moving through a canopy you'd be asking for the brake handle to be wrenched off.

 

On my 201t I just have an old crab through the strop ring. I use the plastic loop on the husky topper, and on the 150 I use the side handle.

No more so than when a branch pulls at it no matter how it's hanging when you're moving around. I've known loads of the 200t handles break from general use but never did one myself
