To give you an idea what you would be competing against.

My Echo CS-8002 decided it didn't want to cut through a piece of angle iron which had been absorbed into a tree about 30 years ago with no outward indication it was there resulting in a knackered chain & snapped tensioner screw.

Went to order from Abbey Garden Sales online parts dept on the 6th as I know they sell Echo parts.

My model was not listed so had to look up part numbers elsewhere then type in part numbers for the 3 components of the tensioner in their search box.

Ordered 2 of each part, was charged £7.99 P+P :001_unsure: ordered anyway as I need that saw running.

Heard nothing until the 11th when I got an email saying order had been dispatched.

Arrived in a jiffy bag on the 13th, marked sent as second class post.

Shouldn't be too hard to beat that service.

Hi Mr Jones,

I currently buy spares from lsengineers.co.uk I find their search engine pretty useless as it returns a lot of results mostly incorrect.

I dont buy a lot of spares myself, but id certainly use it as Ive had great service from you & I can see an advantage to anyone running a business having the diagrams with the part numbers to hand.

Hi All

We are thinking about doing spare parts online, we believe this will be good addition to our website. Please can you let us know either way what you all think as it will be a big investment to get it sorted and need to know how many people would be interested in using it.

It will be easy to use and will contain all the breakdowns of each machine like below.

.

I would definitely use this service and would have used it yesterday and last week.

Paypal would be an attractive part of this service.

Edit: and the week before actually.
