Wow! Quarter of a grand for a friction device...

It does look amazing though. Does it come with its own display case?

 

Thats a fair whack. Could prove to be worth it though. Art stuff is pretty bomb proof and the ability to change the cam means you can get a good few years out of these if they are treated well.

 

Wonder how well the pin/lock will fare when it gets a bit of grime and sap in there.

Regular strip downs with a thorough clean would be essential I think. I nearly bought the 2.1 but went with the ZZ in the end. Looking forward to reading the reviews and feedback on it. Wonder how it would perform in dense conifer removals.

I watched the spiderjackery videos and it certainly looked incredible.

I tried one a frame at the APF it felt nice and responsive and I liked the thumb brake. It's just that I wasn't convinced that it would suit a lot of the work that I do..... ( eg Lots of stinking conifers☺️)
