Planning to fit a small winch to my TR6.

Just for emergency if it gets stuck, or the odd branch stuck in a bush

Just a cheap ebay jobby, something like this

Wireless Winch 12V 2000LBS 907KG Remote Heavy Duty Electric Winch ATV Boat Truck | eBay

Any body done this? I am assuming without looking that the chipper will have a 12v battery. And as long as the machine is running it won't draw to much current.

I will let you know how I get on any way. :001_smile:

Got one on our chipper, comes in really handy, if pulling something heavy and the chippers on tick over it will just shut the chipper off from drawing all the power.

Dyneema rope is the dogs bollocks , I changed over from wire and massive difference in weight and more manageable .

Comes in great use, speak to forst for a winch bracket, this was on the tr8, it makes a tracked machine a very versatile tool
