My 2016 Zero Facebook Diary

DAY 3 In The Zero Facebook House

At this time of year, (the beginning of a new one) I tend to find myself being more mentally capable of getting jobs ticked off the list; especially DIY jobs at home.

Does anyone else feel like that?

I already feel more rejuvenated than normal since leaving Facebook (thats my New Year resolution).

It's been an interesting experiment so far.... because I've found myself typing an "f" into the web browser and immediately hitting return. That takes me to the Facebook new user signup & login page. That proves how addictive it had become.

cheers, steve

Good stuff. It's a great accumulator of data for intelligence agencies and companies that look to market you specific products. At the very least, getting rid of facebook should be a pursuit of better privacy.

No longer will you get to see an abundance of pictures of new borns, pets, cupcakes, star wars characters, and any other associated drivel! :D

Today I have seen pictures from my mate at Newlands watching the cricket and a few pictures of Whistler mountain from another friend, plus a few pets and food shots.

If someone gets on my nerves I just hide them (I'm sure a few have hidden me)

Here is just the same, there's as much inanity on here as anywhere.

Oh come on chaps!!.... please don't expect me to ditch Arbtalk and become a total hermit pitched in a beautiful coppice woodland scenery, stirring with my rustically gourged spalted ash spoon before fine dining on coq-au-rabbit after a Shittake soup starter and finishing with a heavenly blackberry & apple crumble pudding drizzled with cream from Jersey cows, waking up to bird song before sharpening my Gransfors axe aside the trickling fine bone china cup sounds of the brooks little waterfalls.

errrr, actually, now you mention it!!
