Is there any difference between the makita ea5000 and the dolly 5105 other than colour? They look the same on paper.

No there's no difference there made in the same factory same performance most times the makita comes in 18" 3/8 where as the Dolmar comes with 15" .325

The makita is more competitive price wise at the moment
