We have had bad experience with the 2.7 Jag engine at work needing Two new engines, one pulling the belt tensioner out of the oil pump and the second snapping the crank. I personally run Audi having previously had an A4, A5 & now swapped to a Q7 with the 3.0 V6, beautiful engine & so far not in the emissions scandal.

Bmw i6 is all allu/magnesium block, always preferred cast iron block but long term oil leaks with ally head on a inline...

Ford bless em have cast iron heads now, fair play:thumbup1:

There's a good VM Motori 3.0 V6 in some yank truck, hoped it might be in the Jeep Grand Cherokee but no...

Ever faithful Amazon.

11 plate merc Vito

Hyundai i10

1996 hilux in top gear red

Very nearly bought a 57 plate mint Amazon last week but it was just too much over priced.

Shame you didn't go for it Steve - it was stunning, but as you say, way over priced. I take it they wouldn't budge too far on price?
