A farmer i know was after some in the last couple of weeks and was told £22 per tonne he usually paid about a fiver or free if there was a planing/resurfacing job nearby. Apparently they are being re used recycled on the roads now.

 

Bloody el that's dear! I found local council to be cheapest, works out @ £3 a ton collected.

I had some delivered for a job a few weeks ago, £10/ton, they were carting them quite a distance mind.

Yeah, but, what would I know about laying Tarmac/Planings. I've only layed thousands and thousands of tons in my life time.:001_rolleyes:

 

Yes mate I know the feeling after 25 years on the highways. Diesel dissolves bitumen that's a fact!
